Pipelines are in the news in Central Texas all the time lately. This cache is off the beaten trail.
Parking is easily available near Dam Series #1 cache or even closer at N30 14.676, W097 42.036. The park has a nice trail until the last 0.13 miles, then follow the pipeline markers. There is a small (when it hasn't rained much) creek to cross and this approach is relatively easy.
The Colorado River is just north of most of this park but you don't see it until you reach the cache.
