There is no special significance to this hide, it's just a spot where we thought we could get away with hiding a bison in a tree.
Have you done the Walenator's terrific "Welcome to..." series on the peninsula or their Naval series called "Jack Speak..."? We noticed their preference for a certain type of small container hide and we saw this little number in a local shop & immediately thought of our friends in caching! The Chief couldn't resist!!
I know we often say "If it weren't for caching I would never have seen this or discovered that." Well if it weren't for caching we wouldn't have met the Walenators but we are mighty glad we did. There has been crazy caching trips all over the state, the first 2 Aussie Megas and a camping trip to S.A. as well as a jaunt across the ditch to NZ. We enjoy their company immensely, caching with them is always more fun than on our own! So this cache is a tribute to our caching mates, may they live long and Go Large!
