X was born under a different name in 1951 and became a well-known English actress for her performances in various movies and TV series. She has earned an Emmy Award, Two Golden Globe awards, a star on the Hollywood Walk of fame and was made an officer of the Order of the British Empire in 2000.
Her father is a British Jew whose family was originally from Poland, and her mother was a Dutch Protestant who was a prisoner of war during WW II. Her stage name was taken after a Queen of England.
X started her acting career in 1969, in an uncredited appearance in a Richard Attenborough's movie. Her most famous roles are possibly the Bond Girl and the TV Series where she played the lead role for five years.
