Post a picture of you and your GPSr in front of the Hospital. Or
E-Mail
Me, and tell me what very large structure is located across
from the hospital to the east. The center does not have to be open
to get the answer. Don't post the answer here, even if encrypted.
Any pictures of the object will cause the post to be
deleted. The hours to the center are VERY
irregular, and the visiting hours vary greatly, depending on the
season. Most likely, they will be closed except during the summer
tourist season. They depend on volunteer help for tours, especially
college students on summer breaks. You do not need to visit the
hospital itself, the object is available 24/7.
This is a family cache, kid friendly, and a great group of
people helping endangered species. This hospital for sick and
injured sea turtles was started by Karen Beasley, and continued
after her death by her family. The hospital is run by volunteers,
and no funding other than donations.
Visit the web site, and if you are so inclined, help them with
the cause. I am not affiliated with the hospital in any way, other
than donations, and buying t-shirts for friends.

and Rehab Center
Also at this website you can see satellite tracking using GPS
technology to document sea turtles travels. You can even "adopt" a
turtle.
