Geocache Description:

.

Cache and Dash but we are afraid it's another Nano.

No need to look for the Cache in the Church Grounds.

John Pugh was the founder of the church at Bethany and several other Baptist churches in the area. From1840-1844 the preacher was active among English speaking people of Blackpill and Mumbles. June 1847 saw the first Baptismal Service in the stream at Blackpill, near the ‘Roman’ bridge, and in September 1850, the new Church was established at Bethany, West Cross, It has been suggested that the site at West Cross was chosen because it lay half way between the twin fields of Blackpill and Mumbles where Pugh had been working. In 1851 the Church at Bethany was completed.

If anybody would like to expand this series we would just ask that
you contact sadexploration first so he can keep track of the Church
numbers and names and to avoid duplication.
