Caver Bill: Sad to say Santa was evicted by park maintenance. The old chimney that was Santa's home was leaning and I guess they felt it was a hazard. So the whole thing was knocked down and buried under rubble and trees. Sorry to see this one go.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located along the D & R Canal State Park hiking trail just north of Wilburtha Road in Ewing. The cache is a small plastic bottle that shouldn't be too hard to find. Merry Christmas!

This is part of a group of caches I plan on placing on this lower part of the D & R Canal State Park hiking trail which follows the abandoned railroad tracks. Think of it as a mini power trail to make your walk along this part of the trail more interesting. I hope you enjoy your travels along the D & R Canal. Scenic views are available all along the way. Good hunting!
