The millenium Clock in Silverdale centre is the starting point for a circular geocached walk from Silverdale to Jenny Browns point and back. It is a 3.7 mile walk on sometimes rough terrain along public rights of way with plenty of variety through fields, in woods and on the coast with great views. There are 6 owned geocahes plus 3 others on the way always close to the footpaths. The total walk is 3.7 miles and should take no more than 2 hours if you don't saunter too much!
From the clock walk up Stankelt Road towards Carnforth. In 400m you come to "The Chase" on your right, take the footpath to the left of this cul de sac keeping straight on on a fenced footpath along the field edge. Keep on the footpath as it turns left along a cliff edge. The GPS should keep you on track as you approach SS1 through the woods.
The woods and the field are all land owned by the National Trust. They have supported this geocache experience
Contents when first cached: Purple snake, bulldog clip, silver glue pen, 5 mini clothes pegs, dice,4 fluffy coloured balls, 4 treacle toffees. Jotter pad +pencil Travel bug CHCHKIWI
