Geocache Description:

A series of caches around the hamlet of Breadstone with an Arabian Nights theme – individual episodes to complete the whole story!

see Breadstone Before Bedtime #1 for general notes about the series.

This cache is named after The Fisherman and the Genie, a chapter in Stories from the Arabian Nights retold by Laurence Housman and first published in 1907.

“Having cast (his net) for the first time he found…the carcass of an ass… He cast a second time… but again was doomed to disappointment for… it contained nothing but a large earthenware jar full of sand and mud. His third attempt brought him only a heap of old bottles and potsherds: fortune seemed to be against him. Then, committing his hope to Providence, he cast for the fourth and last time…  he found that it contained a brazen vessel bearing upon it the seal of King Solomon."

So... you are looking for a 100ml vessel in a camo bag with room for very small items.

Note: For a slightly shorter walk, you could miss out #13 and #14 and carry on to #15 at this point. If aiming for #13, take care on the bridge over Billow Brook as it's rather tricky to manoeuvre here at the moment due partly to the sort of debris described above! The bridge is part of a footpath so you can carry on across the next field where you should find an allotted footpath between areas fenced off for horses.

Original contents: logsheet, pencil, Playmobil mermaid accessories for swapsies
