Geocache Description:

A little off the beaten path, but worth the hunt.

A nurse log is a fallen tree, which as it decays, provide nutrients to seedlings. They always create beautiful root formations as the tree grows up. This little park has several excellent examples of nurse logs, so don't forget to take a good look at them.
Nurse logs also provide excellent hidey spots for caches! This cache is a small snap-n-lock container. Bring a pen to sign the log.
