Geocaching Challenge - State Park Super Challenge Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

0 degrees C: I was in the area today checking on the challenges. I was worried that this one would be wet but it wasn't. It was very much in tact and amazingly dry in the exact spot I'd hidden it with a friend all those years back. Because of the obnoxious cheating and online bullying I have decided to delete it..

do NOT bother logging this cache unless you can prove that your name is on the log shown here uploaded. to the log

Geocache Description:

The Cache IS located at the posted coordinates. However, this is a CHALLENGE CACHE so there is a logging requirement that must be met before you can find and log this cache.

Few will deny that state parks, whether in Minnesota or not, are some of the best parcels of real estate in all of the land. These gorgeous lands preserved for their beauty are one of the reasons I began geocaching.

This geocaching challenge was created to help recognize the sport of geocaching within the state park systems throughout our great nation.

Your goal is to find and log 100 geocaches found within state parks across the United States. But whoa.. state parks within Minnesota are just PART of the challenge. You must find and log 100 geocaches representing state parks in at least 10 different states. Here are the rules:

1. TEN states must be represented. If you find 91 state park caches within Minnesota's parks and the other required nine caches are in nine other unique states, that works for me. BRAGGING RIGHTS TO THE GEOCACHER THAT LISTS THE MOST UNIQUE STATE PARKS.

2. Only physical caches, virtual caches and earthcaches are allowed. All other cache types are not allowed.

3. All previous finds do count.

4. You MUST prove that you've fulfilled you requirement by listing them or by picture attachment. Your proof MUST include the name of the STATE, name of the STATE PARK, the CACHE NAME and the GC Code of each cache found.

5. While I can't control when you sign the physical log, you must meet the requirement before logging the find online.

6. Washington D.C. counts as a state. But I wish you luck finding a state park there.

7. Canadian provinces do not count. Only states, commonwealths, and districts within our borders.

8. FIRST TO FIND (if you play the side game) is awarded to the first person to MEET THE REQUIREMENT, SIGN THE PHYSICAL LOG, AND LOG THE FIND ONLINE.

Have fun and remember, it IS about the numbers, in some fashion or another.
