Solliès-Pont, capitale de la figue, est fière d'avoir sa propre AOC, la délicieuse "Violette de Solliès". Elle fête ce fruit le dernier week-end d'août. Au milieu des oliviers, des figuiers, des vignes et des fleurs, cette petite ville est arrosée par le Gapeau. Cette vallée, concentre à elle seule 75% de la production nationale, soit 2 500 tonnes par an !.

Solliès-Pont, capital of the fig, is proud of its own AOC(PROTECTED DESIGNATION OF ORIGIN), the delicious " Violet of Solliès ". This fruit is celebrated last weekend of August. Surrounded by olive trees, fig trees, vineyards and flowers, this town is watered by the Gapeau. The valley of Gapeau, concentrates on her own 75 % of the national production: 2 500 tons a year!.
