Geocache Description:

ROKKAKUDO is a small hexagon-shaped house that was designed by Tenshin Okakura , and built in 1905. The house is located the edge of sawtooth coastline. It was destroyed by Tsunami of the Great East Japan Earthquake on March, 11, 2011. In 2012, it was rebuilt in same shape of original ROKKAKUDO. The cache container is a cardcase. It is between “むらた” and “しずか”. Please bring your pen.

太平洋に臨む岸壁の上に六角堂は立っています。１９０５年に造られたもので岡倉天心が自ら設計したものです。東日本大震災の津波で流出しましたが、２０１２年に創建当初の姿で再建されました。キャッシュはカードケースです。“むらた”と“しずか”の間にあります。筆記具を持参ください。
