Geocache Description:

***The coordinates above are bogus and there is no cache there***

Careful wording, exquisite vocabulary, and clever wordplay. Those three things combine together in several places: books, crosswords, music, and the one we’re familiar with, geocaching puzzles. Often when reading other cache owner’s puzzles, I’m impressed with their writing skills, sometimes putting my ideas to shame.

Instead of writing a creative poem, rap, or song, I figured a simple short story would be the safest option to avoid embarrassment amongst my peers in the caching community. Here’s my brief tale of my 7th caching trip.

“I was talkin’ to myself as I bushwhacked north through dozens of prickly branches, scratching the surface of my skin. I had zero chance of giving up on this cache as it had been on my watchlist for awhile. Pushing my body to it’s limits, I told myself I won’t back down and continued to progress forward. My water bottle had emptied out where there were zero drops of precipitation to quench my thirst. The cold wind blows as the chilly air sent shivers down my spine. Freezing from the low temperatures, the cold wind blows from out of the west now. However, I was not afraid of the suddenly declining weather conditions. The wind patterns were going through changes, inconsistently switching speeds. My partner was not afraid of approaching the mysteriously dark GZ either as our GPSr gave us a beep. Finally we stumbled upon the ammo box and found our 20th cache of the day, you could say that we were on fire.”

My idea for recovery from this brutal trip was going home and solving some more puzzles. Maybe you can help me solve this one again as I’ve lost the correct coordinates. Assume N 39 and W 084.
