Geocache Description:

Another beautiful area to walk.  These caches follow the paths Wags & I have walked for many years.  This particular spot is a favorite.  It is beautiful for me and full of smells and doggie email for Wags.   He always goes to particular spots to sniff.  In this part of our walk he can run freely.

There are several outdoor areas here to investigate.  Some are wooded and some are level walking areas with a trail.  Take time to walk the entire area and enjoy the architecture and museums.  Wags and I like this area because it gives a feel of hiking in a hilly wooded area.  For a good long walk, we go north across the bridge, back to this area and along the east side.  There are so many smells to investigate here.  You might see some deer and probably some geese.

As you look for each cache remember:  look for places that a dog would be interested in, places where “doggie e-mail” might be located.  Replace the cache carefully so the next person has to look as hard as you did.

Take time to visit the museums here. The structure was completed in 1928 and is a 55-room Italian Renaissance Villa. It is a National Historic Landmark and one of America's Castles. It is furnished in original period furniture. The ceilings are works of art. Throughout the building there are sculptures of gargoyles, owls, jackals, and other intricate ornamentation.
What is the 2nd smartest dog breed?

A.      Fox Terrier                                        C.  Poodle
B.      Bassett Hound                                  D.  Husky

Parking is available nearby so park legally.  Muggle activity can be high so be stealthy.  Please be aware of the neighborhood and respect the area.

This cache contains doggie related items and some things your dog will enjoy. Please take a treat for you furry friend. They will get stale if you don't. You don't need to replace anything if you take a treat.
