Geocache Description:

Loacted opposite The Old CSIRO building Merbein .The laboratory, located 15 kilometres from Mildura in the north west of Victoria, was established in 1919 and had a history of successful research for Australian horticulture, from improving grape and citrus varieties through conventional breeding, management and biotechnology to successful collaborations with other organisations and post graduate training. The CSIRO closed in late 2009/early 2010.
