PikaCrew: Banjo1 was probably in the right spot, but no joy. We checked on the cache on Sunday, with a visitor from NYC in tow, and the cache is, sadly, gone.
We stashed this in March, a year ago, and now the dried summer grass has a well defined path leading to the coordinates. Was it the cache? Or perhaps some other magnetic attraction to that site? A popular spot either way.
There's still a beautiful view there, but we're inclined to put a replacement cache in some other, less trafficed spot.
