This event will take place on the Superstition Mountain Museum grounds. There's lots to see and do so.. bring the kids. If you'd like to learn about the old west and Arizona's history...this is the place to be! Mining equipment, nature trails, lectures and more will be at your disposal and much of it is free!
The special event for that day will be "Celebrate Desert Gardening". The admission to the museum itself is a five dollar donation.
The posted coordinates are at a group of picnic tables under a large Palo verde tree. The SHORT schedule of events are as follows..
Day of the event...Saturday, February 16th, 2013
2:00pm to 2:30pm Meet and greet your fellow geocachers.
2:30pm Group photo in front of the old water well drill.
2:45pm Say bye..bye, discover trackables, find the two geocaches in the area and then enjoy the rest of your day.
Please indicate if you will attend. There will be a log in/sign in book at the picnic tables. In order to get credit for this event..you will need to be here to sign in!
The address of the Mountain Museum is: 4087 N. Apache Trail, Apache Junction...or you could just turn on your GPS!

The goal of this event is as follows:
1 To have the opportunity to meet your local/fellow geocachers
2 To have the opportunity for you to get credit for an event
3 To have the opportunity for me to get credit for hosting an event(yes!)
4 And last (but not least) for all of us to have a fun day!
