Geocache Description:

This is a straight-forward two-part cache that begins in Washington and ends in Idaho with a wonderful view of the Snake River, Asotin, WA, and Hells Canyon.
Looking South from the Southway Bridge you will see your first destination. Very prominent and named after the birds that hang out here. There are several places to park and several ways up.
Your GPS will probably clue you, but DO NOT CROSS THE FENCE as it is on private property and he DOES NOT want anyone on his rock.
According to the GPS, the coordinates are within plus/minus 11.5 feet. Young kids can do this, but watch them closely as you near the instructions. They are hidden on the edge under a rock. It is from this spot that you can see your final destiination in Idaho.
The entire mountain top around the final cache was completely charred on 8/11/2. I checked it today (8/24/2) and found the cache container and some contents destroyed by the heat. Replaced with new, larger container and lots of new contents. The spot is rather obvious with all the vegetation gone and turned the "white" rock over so as to try and make make it less obvious. It remains, however, a nice view and certainly a good workout to get to it. Don't wear good clothes yet :-).
