What a great hike in the park. What better than a quick dip in the creek. Here lies one of the best swimming holes around.We were here in January so no swimming for us, but we will be back. Cache is located just before Manning Flats in Austin Creek Reserve. Easiest way to get here is pay the Fee and drive up to Bull Frog Pond/Austin Creek Fire Road Parking lot. This is where the fun starts. In front of you is Fox Mountain and the valleys of Cazadero. Dont look down you might get scared. Yep that is the way in and Out. 1000 feet down to the valley floor with a round trip of almost 9 miles unless you go for the other great caches located in this amazing place. Have fun and be safe. Always let someone know you are hiking here, its deep in the back country. The cache is a hidden in a bush behind a Madrone(as I recall) burid in leaves. You will know the container when you find it.
