**Updated Coordinates N 48 37.865 W 122 24.344**(per badger49). Following narrative is written by the original cache owner...Chorse. This cache is at one of our favorite weekend spots to ride our horses, camp and fish. You can hike or ride mountain bikes also. From the lower parking lot, N 48.37.086 W 122.22.791 the trail is 5 miles one-way. The elevation gain is 1150 feet. From the upper parking lot, N 48.37.024 W 122.23.150 the trail is 4 miles and the elevation gain is 870 feet. So depending on if you are just going for the cache or going for the hike/ride you can decide in which lot to park. We decided to make a party of planting the cache and took 10 horses and 10 riders including my 3-year-old grandson on his new pony. We didn't know that there was 15" of snow at the top. But we got the cache planted for now. I will have to change the location once the snow melts to make it a little more hidden. Please try and hide it well as this area gets a lot of traffic in the spring and summer. Again, had a beautiful ride to the beautiful lake. Coordinates can be a tad bouncy.
