Geocache Description:

A simple cache at little community church.

A small cache at a small church and community hall in Rangiotu. The church was built on land donated for it through the efforts of Hoani Meihana Te Rangiotu, a local Rangitane leader, in 1897. Although primarily a Presbyterian church, this is used by other denominations. The hall was built in 1929 and extended in the early 1940s. It gained its "Memorial" title in 1945.

While you are here, check the time! Don't forget to adjust for daylight savings - subtract one hour from real time to get solar time during summer months.
