Sweeney Toddlers: We wondered if the last log was sour grapes secondary to a DNF. We went up and checked the Tupperware this morning. Still sitting pretty. The land isn't private but the nearby big house mow and tend a path to it (it's outside their boundary).

Anyhoo most of the locals have found this and we don't want anyone being hassled by nosey neighbours.

Geocache Description:

This one should only be approached from the given trailhead waypoint as most other routes encroach on private property. Go up the right hand side of the wall, hop over the wee fence and climb the stairs to Swoddler Tower. A standard tupperware with room for swaps and trackables. Please bring a pen.

Swoddler Tower

Of course, it's not really Swoddler Tower. It's too far away from Toddler Manor for comfort. Instead it is believed that this may have been a tower built in a position for ladies to watch their better halves while they were hare coursing. It was built sometime in the second half of the 18th Century. It is now a ruin although in general terms it looks structurally sound. The surrounding area is being built up by flats and houses close to the Patterton rail link to Glasgow. The only way in, that doesn't involve going through people's gardens, is via the trailhead waypoint as described above. Park in the streets below in any area that doesn't obstruct. We have included one potential parking waypoint.
