We were driving home after spending the afternoon at a geocaching event in Watertown and just had to show our appreciation to the host DayDreamermom.
The highlight of the event was all the wonderful cooking and baked goods everyone brought and my favorite was the Chicken N Dumplings. Daydreamermom spend a lot of hours cooking up this delicious dish for all those that attended and it was umm umm Good!
Chicken N Dumplings is commonly thought of as a comfort found and may have originated during the Great Depression. It is predominately served on dinner tables in the South and Midwestern states - hmm those Northerners don't know what they are missing.
Here is some international trivia for you - in China a similar dish is server and it is called Wonton soup.
