Geocache Description:

This cache has view of the Great Meadows Saltmarsh, a protected refuge for migrating birds.  This saltmarsh is vital to the health of Long Island Sound as it filters the water and is home to hundreds of creatures that feed on the flotsom (this explains the low tide "perfume").

This cache is NOT in Long Beach park and you do not need to enter the park to find it. You may have to park up the road, there is no parking on the marsh side of the street.
