Welcome to Frank L. Knight City Park. Acquired by the city of Portland in 1941, this steep hillside property has sat abandoned and neglected for over 70 years.
The Link above has an interesting personal narrative and more information about the mysterious Mr. Knight.
This is a true Vertical Park, covered in ivy and brambles, so think about what season you are attempting this in. You might need a machete in summer.
If you go in at the given parking coords, keep to the west of the big fir tree. You will shortly find a narrow path down to the cache.
Watch for the junk people have tossed over the side.
Ftf gets the glory and choice of swag.
This cache complies with the geocaching policies for Portland Parks & Recreation (PP&R) properties. Please respect park hours when caching.
