Geocache Description:

A fairly easy cache in an area with great natural beauty and history.

In an area with incredible natural beauty and loaded with history from the Civil War, you will see some things that aren't always so "pretty". In Murphy's Holler, a spring emerges from a rocky hillside to form a beautiful waterfall flowing into a creek. A pipe has been attached to gather drinking water. Bring your jug! This site was also part of the Chickamauga Campaign Heritage Trail and where Federal troops camped. A plaque is at the site that explains what happened in the area. Hope you find this site as beautiful as we do. You are looking for a small container about the size of a film canister. Please return to hiding spot carefully and as found. BYOP.
