Geocache Description:

From GZ, you get a nice, elevated view of the canyon.  It is a great place to rest and reflect. You are looking for an ammo can.

Forget the groundhog, this day is all about Brigid.  One of my favorite goddesses, she is associated with things that are elevated, such as highlands and tall flames, but also with intellectual elevation, such as wisdom, poetic brilliance, craftsmanship (blacksmithing), healing, and strategy.  She is so important that the Catholic church created Saint Brigid and celebrated her holiday on Imbalc.  As the midpoint between winter and spring, this day (and Brigid) is associated with rebirth, purification, and fertility.  Animals associated with Brigid include owls (which we heard last night at our house), and serpents.  The Neolithic Irish also knew of the significance of this day, as the Mound of Hostages on the Hill of Tara aligns well with this cross-quarter day and Samhain (the cross-quarter day before Winter Solstice).

Loaded with trackables right now... please move them along.

Congratulations to loookin4u for the FTF!!!
