Geocache Description:

Caching. The Final Frontier. These are the journals of the dedicated cachers. Their ongoing mission to explore new areas, to seek out new caches, to bold go where no cacher has gone before (if they want a first to find.......)

The cache has been placed in line with the "Leave No Trace" principles so there is no need to tear up the countryside.


The cache is not at the coordinates but can only be found by solving the puzzle below.

Pictured are captains or above from Star Trek. What you need to do is identify the officer, count the number of letters in his surname and put it into the formula below. Large pictures are available in the gallery.

The cache is located along a forest walk. It can get quite mucky after rain. Less than 1km from the trail head and although there's some height gain it's not too steep.
