Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Lake District.

Out of all the walks in this hillside forest we've chosen this one because it's children and GPS friendly. It is set is an area of outstanding beauty overlooking Grizedale Pike.

There's a Visitor Centre (staff are excellent), gift shop, tea room and loos, with a pay & display car park at the bottom. Little ones and those young at heart, can explore a 'badger sett' and visit a giant brock before heading off for the adventure play area.

This place is usually busy whenever you go, so you could have fun trying to get this cache box without others seeing you, hence the difficulty. The cache contains lots of swaps, a few local gifts and 'A Taste Of Lakeland'.
