I took 3 sets of coordinates from cache site but (due to tree cover) the map is showing cache to be in a slightly different location. Hence the detailed descriptions. You will have to be stealthy whilst searching for cache as you are overlooked by houses from both sides. Use the Satellite view of the valley between Clough Fold Road and Grosvenor Crescent and search the banking area opposite the house with the blue circular trampoline in it.
Cache is hidden down in 'The Wild Valley'. It is located off the bridle path that leads down to the Peak Forest canal (which is part of the Trans Pennine Trail). The path is best accessed from the ginnel on Clough Fold Road which is located beside the house with the iron gates (Facing the signposted pathway to 'Church Brow').
The other best access point is from the Grosvenor Road ginnel (this faces Foxholes Road). If you take either of these paths you will find the cache on your left hand side as you follow the bridle path about half way down towards the canal.
You can also access the "valley" from the canal via bridge, but be careful if you do this as it gets very muddy due to it being a horse field, and you can get totally stuck in the mud. I'd probably leave this access point for use only in drier months. If you take this path please keep your dogs on leads, and please don't touch/ feed the horses. Do not deviate from path as to either side it is private land. Beware of the Bog Troll who lives on the field side of the railway bridge! Follow this path to the railway bridge, go over the stile under the bridge and walk along the path. From this way in to GZ the cache will be hidden on your right hand side. Wear wellies as it gets very muddy and slippery down there. TB and medal for the FTF located in cache!
Congratulations to harristwins on being the FTF 'PEEK-A-BOO: THE WILD VALLEY!'
Congrats to CQMAN and rams den for being joint 2ndTF :@)
*PS: Wear your wellies down here, it's a bit muddy!*
