Monte Pana
Monte Pana oder auch Panaalm (ladinisch Monte Pana) ist ein Hochplateau im südlichen Gemeindeteil von St. Christina in Gröden. Dieses Gebiet erstreckt sich von 1600 m bis 1800 m über dem Meeresspiegel. Vom Ortskern St. Christinas ist der Monte Pana mit einem Sessellift oder über eine Straße zu erreichen. Das Hochplateau ist südlich dem Mont de Sëura in der Langkofelgruppe (Langkofel, Plattkofel) vorgelagert. Im Westen grenzt es an Europas größtes Hochplateau, die Seiser Alm und den Jenderbach. In Richtung Norden kann man die Geislergruppe sehen. Im Osten grenzt der Monte Pana an den Ampezan-Bach und weiters an die Saslong-Weltcuppiste.
Winter
Im Winter ist der Monte Pana ein wichtiger Ausgangspunkt für Skifahrer, mit Verbindungen zur Seiser Alm und zur Sellaronda. Im Jahre 2006 wurde eine neue Sprungschanze eröffnet, die dem heimischen Ski-Club sehr gute Trainingsmöglichkeiten bietet. 2007 wurde das Langlaufzentrum St. Christina, das größte Grödens, auf dem Monte Pana eröffnet. Die Pisten sind insgesamt 30 km lang und es gibt 3 verschiedene Schwierigkeitsgrade.
Sommer
Im Sommer ist Monte Pana ein idyllischer Ort mit herrlichem Ausblick zum östlich gelegenen Sellamassiv und zur südlich gelegenen Langkofelgruppe. Von Monte Pana starten viele Wanderungen.
Sehenswürdigkeiten
- Die Bergkapelle des Architekten Franz Baumann mit Fresko von Stolz und holzgeschnitztes Kreuz von Vinzenz Peristi.
- Die Sonnenuhr: eine sphärische Äquatorial-Sonnenuhr, die nicht nur für St. Christina, sondern auch noch 60 weitere Städte die wahre Ortszeit (WOZ) und die mitteleuropäische Zeit (MEZ) anzeigt

Monte Pana
Monte Pana o Panaalm (ladino Monte Pana) è un altopiano nella parte meridionale del comune di Santa Cristina. Questa zona si estende da 1600 m a 1800 m sopra il livello del mare. Dal centro di Santa Cristina il Monte Pana è raggiungibile con la seggiovia o in macchina. L'altopiano è preceduto a sud di "Mont de Sëura" del Sassolungo (Sassolungo Sassopiatto). A ovest è delimitato dall' altopiano più grande d'Europa (l'Alpe di Siusi e il Jenderbach). A nord si possono vedere le Odle. Nella parte orientale del Monte Pana costeggia il torrente Ampezan e la pista Saslong Coppa del Mondo.
Inverno
In inverno, il Monte Pana è un importante punto di partenza per gli sciatori, con collegamenti per l'Alpe di Siusi e del Sella Ronda. Nel 2006, sono stati aperti due trampolini di salto, che fornisce allo sci club la opportunità di allenamento. Nel 2007, il centro fondo di Santa Cristina, (Val Gardena) ha aperto la più lunga pista di fondo della valle che parte da Monte Pana. Le piste hanno la lunghezza di 30 km e ci sono 3 diversi livelli di difficoltà.
Estate
In estate il Monte Pana è una zona idilliaca con vista mozzafiato, a est il massiccio del Sella e a sud il gruppo del Sassolungo. Da Monte Pana partono numerose passeggiate.

- La Meridiana: una meridiana non solo per Santa Cristina, ma indica il tempo apparente anche per altre 60 città (LAT) e l'ora dell'Europa centrale (CET)

Monte Pana
Monte Pana or Panaalm (Ladin Monte Pana) is a high plateau in the southern part of the municipality of Santa Cristina. This area extends from 1600 m to 1800 m above sea level.
