The Buccaneers "William Dampier" Traditional Cache

He was an English buccaneer and navigator. He was the first from his country to visit Australia and he discovered an island now called New Britain. He went around the World in (1697), provided background material used by Jonathan Swift in Gulliver's Travels. He was a pioneer work in meteorology and hydrography. His charts and navigational data continued being used by English sea captains for a century.
