i have given one set of Co-ords for parking , although there are various ways to approach this cache , please do not block any gates or ignore the "farm vehicles only " signs
the lairds loup is a fantastic small waterfall down from Johnnies dam on the Garrell Burn , which formed an important part of the network of footpaths that once crossed the Kilsyth Hills for traders - Chapmans road
this can be part of a nice circular walk starting either at the car park at top of tak ma doon road or in Kilsyth up through tomtain - garrell hill - lairds loup , follow garrell burn down to tak ma doon and back to car park .
please take extreme care if you decide to approach this from above , steep slippery slopes - not recommended
the cache is a small loc n loc container with room for some swaps
"There and Here "
The garrell hills contain my thrills
Which i view from my dwelling
When i can trace the winding space
When garrell burn runs swelling
And all the vista of Kilsyth
Lies there before me daily
No distant sight could look so bright
Nor make me step so gaily
