Geocache Description:

Caching. The Final Frontier. These are the journals of the dedicated cachers. Their ongoing mission to explore new areas, to seek out new caches, to bold go where no cacher has gone before (if they want a first to find.......)

The cache has been placed in line with the "Leave No Trace" principles so there is no need to tear up the countryside.

The cache is not at the coordinates but can only be found by solving the puzzle below.

Your sensors have detected a man made object on the surface below. Thoron radiation is interferring with your sensors and you can only get an approximate fix. It's time to ask for help from the rest of the crew. Each member or pair will provide you with one of the coordinates you require. Good luck.

Insert the coordinate given by each crew member into the formula below.

N 54 2.ABC W 6.18.DEF

Checksum for the A+B+C+D+E+F=25

You can check your answers for this puzzle on GeoChecker.com.

While I rank this puzzle one of the easiest in the series I will provide some help once you've beamed down to the surface to search. The nearest safe beam down point will still leave you with about a 1.5km round trip but there are other mission objectives in the area should you wish to attempt them. The obvious route will take you along a forest track. Mucky after rains.
