I'm archiving this listing since it's been at least 2 weeks since we last contacted you and there has been no response. Under directions from HQ, if the cache was archived for maintenance issues, it will not be unarchived. If you wish to replace it you will have to do so with a new listing.

Thanks

Geocache Description:

The cache is a match container hidden in Coronation Park.

Originally known as Jubilee Park, this site was renamed Coronation Park  in 1937.  In anticipation of the coronation of George VI, the Brandon Horticultural Society planted trees and a cairn was erected.  Daughter to George, Queen Elizabeth II was crowned in 1953 and celebrates 60 years on the throne this year.

The Welsh corgi was used for herding livestock; cattle, sheep, ponies and even geese.  After seeing one of these dogs in Hyde Park, the young Elizabeth was smitten and has owned corgis ever since.  She hardly ever is seen without at least two of them.  They are inclined to nip at the ankles of people just as they nip at the heels of livestock when working.  The royal corgis are pampered with wicker beds raised off the drafty floor and covered in daily laundered bedding.  They are fed with meals prepared from scratch by a gourmet chef.   The first of Queen Elizabeth's corgis, Susan, gave rise to generations of the dogs for the royal household.  For over 65 years, the monarch has owned and bred corgis and dorgis (a cross of corgi and dachshund), sometimes keeping as many as ten dogs.  After the death of her dog Monty in September 2012, she was left with two remaining dogs, Holly and Willow.

The park is currently covered with snow but you can find the cache if you sniff around a little.
