Ready to Flash to celebrate May the Fourth?!?? Saturday, May 4th, 11 a.m. precisely!
For 15 minutes only!! All attendees that arrive on time can share FTF honors.
We'll join in the Worldwide fun with an alien theme - dress as your favorite non-Terran . . . Star Wars (which would be especially appropriate for this date), Star Trek, Doctor Who, Stargate, Marvin the Martian, Sphenisciformes, Torchwood, Farscape, Furons, The Cat from Outer Space, Blade Runner, Alien Nation, Little Green Men, Indian Jones, Treasure Planet (pirates always be welcomed), Muppets, Spaceballs, Galaxy Quest, Babylon 5, Lost in Space, My Favorite Martian, and on and on . . .
Prior to the event, wander, and try to blend with the muggles in the area. DO NOT glom and/or congregate and/or stand at ground zero!!
We'll meet precisely at 11 a.m. Sign the log, mingle, visit-visit, take a group photo, have a wee little free draffle for a Gold GCCO coin (which you can only WIN at events) and two fully-stocked caches, then disperse precisely at 11:15.
Flash Mobs are a great way to have a short, sweet caching adventure with concentrated silliness.
We'll add information about the other events worldwide as information becomes available. As with previous years, Groundspeak will award a virtual souvenir to geocachers who attend/log any of the flash mob WWFM X events. The souvenir will be attached to the souvenir section of your Geocaching.com Profile page.
