Geocache Description:

A cache along the Deschutes River below Maupin.

This road along the Deschutes really needed some caches along it. If nothing else it gives one a reason to take their flyrod and GPS for a walk. You can get to the cache site either by coming down the canyon from Tygh Valley to Sherar's Bridge and then following the access road back towards Maupin or to drive into Maupin on Hwy 197 and then follow the access road down the river. The name comes from a sign that is just over the bank from a turn out close to the cache. Follow your GPS up to the caches site. The container is a small/medium lock and lock full of goodies and an unactivated geocoin for FTF.
