Waitui Reserve is a popular point in Te Puna on the Tauranga Harbour. With a boat ramp near by and Plummers Point just across the water, it is a picturesque place to spend a sunny afternoon. It is also an area set aside for freedom camping for self-contained vehicles like motorhomes and caravans.
You should have plenty of room to park your vehicle. Stealth is required as this is a busy picnic area in the summer. With water nearby and cars in the car park, you will need to watch your children. Please replace the cache as you found it, and take care. First to Find Honours go to ccrichie.
