 Il Monte Musinè (1.150 m s.l.m. - Alpi Graie)
si trova a circa 20 chilometri ad ovest da Torino ed è quindi la montagna più vicina al capoluogo piemontese.
Collocato all'inizio della Val di Susa, è la montagna più orientale della lunga cresta spartiacque che separa il bacino della Dora Riparia da quello della Stura di Lanzo. Sulla vetta del monte, che è costituita da un grande piazzale erboso disseminato di rocce affioranti, si trova una colossale croce bianca in cemento armato alta ben 15 metri (erretta nel 1901 e restaurata nel 1991), la quale permette di distinguere facilmente il Musinè da tutte le altre montagne della zona. Inoltre trovate anche una tavola di orientamento, in acciaio inossidabile, con l'indicazione delle principali vette (tra cui il Cervino ed il Monviso) visibili da quel punto ad occhio nudo nelle giornate di bel tempo.
Accesso: Dal campo sportivo di Caselette (WP Parking) seguendo il sentiero ben segnalato sul crinale sud-est, raggiungendo prima il santuario di San'Abaco, dove lungo il sentiero vi sono delle cappellette che funzionano da stazioni della via crucis, poi si inerpica dietro al santuario fino al raggiungimento della vetta.
Tempo di percorrenza: Circa 1:30 ore + ritorno.
Periodo consigliato: Essendo il versante esposto al sole, il periodo più indicato per effettuare la salita va da metà ottobre a circa metà maggio.
alcune informazioni:
- Si sente/legge spesso che il sentiero per la cima del Musinè è infestato da vipere, vogliamo comunque averlo fatto presente, senza però voler seminare il panico, visto che la presenza di vipere sul versante sempre esposto al sole e praticamente privo di vegetazione sarebbe da considerare fisiologica. Per chi volesse abbassare notevolmente il rischio d'incontro, è sconsigliato fare questa escursione nel periodo primavera / estate, specialmente quello dei primi caldi dell'anno quando le bestioline escono dal letargo e devono prendere il sole. Noi essendo saliti ai primi di febbraio ovviamente non ne abbiamo viste.
- Data la vicinanza alla città, il sentiero è parecchio frequentato, pertanto non aspettatevi di essere da soli. Oltre ad escursionisti vi sono molti trail-runners che si allenano qui. Siate dunque preparati a momenti di grande sconforto quando in fase di salita, già un po' stanchi, sarete sorpassati di corsa e prima che voi riusciate ad arrivare in cima, la stessa persona vi viene nuovamente incontro nel senso inverso.
- acqua potabile: Vi è una fontanella all'inizio del sentiero. Lungo il percorso non ne troverete altra.
Dopo il felice ritrovamento godetevi la splendida vista a 360° sulla pianura Torinese, la collina Torinese con la Superga, la Val Di Susa, le vette circostanti e di fronte a voi la Sacra di San Michele.

 The Mount Musinè (1.150 m a.s.l - Graie Alps)
is located at about 20 km western of Turin and is the closest mountain to the city.
It's the first mountain of the Susa Valley (Val di Susa), the most eastern of the long ridge watershed that separates the basin of the Dora Riparia from that of the Stura di Lanzo. On the summit of the mountain, which is composed of a large grassy yard littered with rocky outcrops, there is a huge white cross in concrete 15 meters high (build in 1901 and restored in 1991), which allows you to easily distinguish the Musinè from all the other mountains in the area. There is also a viewpoint indicator, which shows the direction of the main mountains (including the Matterhorn and the Monviso) which are all visible from that point tin case of good weather.
Access: From the sports field in Caselette (WP Parking) following the well-marked trail on the south-eastern ridge, first reaching the sanctuary of San'Abaco, where along the path there are chapels that function as stations of the Via Crucis, then the trail climbs on the backyard to the sanctuary until the summit.
Duration: Approximately 1:30 hours + way back.
Best period: Due to the fact that the path is constantly exposed to the sun, the best time to make the ascent is from mid-October to about mid-May.

- As we often heard and read that the path to the top of Musinè is infested with vipers, we prefer to mention it in the listing, without making any "terrorism". The presence of snakes on the side of the mountain which is constantly exposed to the sun should be considered to be physiological. However for those who want to lower the risk of an encounter, it is NOT recommended to do this hike in spring / summer, especially the first warm days of the year when the critters come out of hibernation and have to take the sun. Since we climbed up at the beginning of February, we obviously have not seen any.
- Given the proximity to the city, the trail is quite popular, so do not expect to be alone. In addition to hiking, there are many trail-runners who train here. Therefore, be prepared for moments of great distress when during ascent, already a bit 'tired, you'll be overrun and before you make it to the top, you meet the same person which is already descending.
- Drinking water: There is a fountain at the trailhead. Along the way you will not find another.
After the successful discovery take in the stunning 360 degree views over the plain area of Torino, Turin hill with the Superga, Val di Susa, the surrounding peaks and in front of you the Sacra di San Michele.

 Der Berg Musinè (1.150 m ü.d.M. - Graie Alpen)
befindet sich etwa 20 km westlich von Turin und ist somit der nächstgelegene Berg zur Stadt.
Er liegt am Anfang der Val di Susa (Susa Tal), und ist somit der östlichste Berg der langen Wasserscheide, die das Becken der Dora Riparia, dass von jener der Stura di Lanzo trennt. Auf dem aus einem großen grasbewachsenen Plateau mit Felsvorsprüngen bestehenden Gipfel, steht ein grosses, 15 Meter hohes, weiße Kreuz aus Beton (erbaut im Jahre 1901 und restauriert und im Jahr 1991), durch welches der Musinè bequem von allen anderen Bergen der Umgebung unterschieden werden kann. Darüber hinaus finden Sie auch eine Orientierungstafel aus Edelstahl, mit Angabe der wichtigsten Gipfel (darunter das Matterhorn und der Monviso) welche vor allem bei gutem Wetter mit nacktem Auge sichtbar sind.
Zugang: Vom Sportplatz in Caselette (WP Parkplatz) dem gut markierten Wanderweg auf dem Süd-Ost-Grat folgend, erreicht man zuerst die Wallfahrtskirche von San'Abaco, wo sich entlang des Weges mehrere kleine Kapellen, die als Stationen der Via Crucis fungieren, befinden. Hinter der Kirche geht dann der Weg weiter bis hoch zum Gipfel.
Zeitaufwand: Rund 1:30 Stunden + Rückweg
Beste Saison: Da der Wanderweg fast durchgehend nach Süd-Osten, also zur Sonne exponiert ist, ist der beste Zeitraum, um den Aufstieg zu machen, von Mitte Oktober bis etwa Mitte Mai.

- Da man oft liesst und hoert, dass der Musinè geradezu von Vipern (Giftschlangen) befallen sein soll, wollen dies zumindest im Listing erwähnt haben, aber ohne irgendwelche Panik zu verbreiten, da das Vorhandensein von Schlangen auf der permanent der Sonne exponierten und wenig bewachsenen Seite des Berges als physiologische anzusehen ist. Für diejenigen, die das Risiko einer moeglichen Begegnung drastisch reduzieren wollen, ist es empfehlenswert, diese Wanderung NICHT im Frühjahr / Sommer zu machen, vor allem sollten die ersten warmen Tage des Jahres umgangen werden, wenn die Kaltblüter aus dem Winterschlaf erwachen und die Sonne geniessen. Wir stiegen Anfang Februar hinauf und haben logischerweise keine gesehen.
- Aufgrund seiner Nähe zur Stadt ist der Wanderweg sehr beliebt, also erwartet nicht allein hier zu sein. Neben Wanderern gibt es viele Trail-Runner, die hier trainieren. Daher sollte man auf Momente grosser Ernüchterung, wenn man während des Aufstiegs, schon ein bisschen müde, überholt wird und bevor man es zum Gipfel schafft die gleiche Person einem auf ihrem Rückweg wieder entgegen kommt, vorbereitet sein ;).
- Trinkwasser: Es befindet sich ein Brunnen am Ausgangspunkt der Wanderung. Entlang des Weges findet Ihr keine weiteren.
Nach der Entdeckung des Caches, geniesst den atemberaubenden 360-Grad-Blick über die Turiner Flachebene, die Turiner Hügel mit der Basilica di Superga, das Susa Tal, die umliegenden Gipfel und vor Euch liegend die Sacra di San Michele.
