The nature reserve was once the heart of the industrial revolution in gateshead,today after various conservation projects it's now a mixture of grasslands,wetlands and woodlands,with an area of ancient semi natural woodland.wildlife is now starting to thrive once again.the site also has over 108 stone and brick structueres of archaeological interest.
the cache is a small klik lok box placed with the kind permission of gateshead m.b.c.
