Cache is located down the road from the Fort Caroline National Park off of park property. Park hours are 9-5. Ammo can filled with trinkets. Parking available on edge of road. Area may be busy due to traffic at times.
This is the first cache to be placed in a CACHE TO EAGLE series. The Cache to Eagle series will bring geocachers to or near the area where Boy Scouts have completed a Community Service Project for their Eagle Rank. Four Eagle projects are recognized with this cache.
Clearing over growth from the Spanish Pond during low water level.
A new cannon carriage was built for a canon that is on display in the fort.
Restoration to the Indian Hut at the Timucuan Village display.
Clearing of built up debries from the shore line along the park property.
