Near this location there once was a DarkZen hide, with a throw-away camera, called Blue Suede Shoes, GC1DPFP. What finders did was snap a picture of themselves. DarkZen would then have the film developed and pictures were posted on the cache's page. You can see the pictures by going to the listed cache. Like so many good things, this cache faded away. To get to the location, one can park on Deleware Avenue and walk the trail toward the ocean some 800-1000 feet or so. It is hidden about 25-30 feet off the trail, toward the Visitors Center. I did not notice any poison oak though there is a possibility this plant that causes so much agony to some could be around.
