This geocache has been placed with permission and is required for hides on any National Park Service property.


The Natchez Trace Parkway is a 444-mile drive through exceptional scenery and 10,000 years of North American history. Used by American Indians, "Kaintucks," settlers, and future presidents, the Old Trace played an important role in American history. Today, visitors can enjoy not only a scenic drive but also hiking, biking, horseback riding, and camping. For more information about the Natchez Trace Parkway visit:

The Battle of Tupelo is also known as the Battle of Harrisburg. The city of Tupelo now covers the majority of land where the battle took place.

When you arrive at the Tupelo National Battlefield, you will find headstones of two Confederate soldiers buried here. Use the information on these headstones to answer the questions to get your final coordinates.
