Valentine's Day Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Nomex: Hi
As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm temporarily archiving this to keep it from continually showing up in search lists. Just contact us when you have the cache repaired, [RED]and assuming it still meets the guidelines[/RED], we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Don't hesitate to email me via the link on my Profile if you have any questions. [red]Please be sure to include the cache name and GC Code, or better yet, the URL of the cache page.[/red]

Thanks for your cooperation!

Geocache Description:

This is a geocache that my wife and 6 year old daughter created and filled with items for me as a Valentines Day gift in 2012. They know I love geocaching (and they love to participate on weekend hikes in the bay area and wherever we go on vacation), so they created this family cache as one that we can have near our house and keep loaded with good items for the local caching community.... especially other kids that are motivated to get out on walks because there are geocaches to find

The location is a nice spot by a creek that usually runs dry, but very occasionally (like for a few days this December) can become a roaring river that breaches its banks and floods the streets. The cache should be an easy find (unless of course the river IS overflowing its banks!).  I travel to the Midwest quite a bit for work so I intend to use this as a drop point for travel bugs and travel coins that I pick up in the Midwest as I move them on to California. And if you have bugs that want to get out of state, especially to states ranging from North Dakota to Missouri to Ohio or anywhere in between, feel free to drop them here and I may be able to help them approach their destination.
