Geocache Description:

The cache is hidden in a beautiful, coastal milkwood forest named Piet se Bos, right adjacent to Hermanus's Blue Flag Grotto Beach.

Sideroxylon inerme (aMasethole or White Milkwood) is a Southern African coastal tree, with dense foliage, black berries and small, dainty white flowers.

There are several marked entrances to Piet se Bos and parking is available all along Grotto Drive, though it can become a bit of a challenge during peak season... The cache is located oceanside, just off the trail, offering beautiful views of both the milkwood forest and Grotto Beach.
