This cache has been archived.

TakeshisCaches: I am struggling to find a replacement for this one, so I think I am going to have to archive. I may replace it at a later date with something new nearby though, so keep an eye out.

Geocache Description:

As a part of the Church Micro series, this cache looks to bring people to visit Tredegarville Baptist Church. The cache itself is a home made magnetic micro cache with just a log inside (bring your own pen/cil)

This cache was made to mark a church a friend of ours goes to, which has a beautiful display of stained glass inside which we wanted people to see.

Founded around 1861 in a loft over a stable in City Road as an offshoot of Bethany Baptist Church. Present church built 1861-63 by W. G. Habershon of London (compare with Conway Road Methodist Church by the same architect). Cruciform plan dictated by Lord Tredegar, the ground landlord. Walls of carboniferous limestone "the geological character of the stone suggests that it came in as ballast in Cory coal ships from co. Galway".

Many thanks to Steve for allowing us to expand the series.

If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.
