Geocache Description:

Down the Line is a series of caches to mark the Belfast to Bangor Stretch of the Belfast and County Down Railway (BCDR).

The Station House at Craigavad was constructed using different materials and has a much lighter appearance than most of the buildings found on the line. It is now a very attractive private dwelling. PLEASE NOTE the cache is not at the Station House so there is no need to search outside the house (we wouldn't want to upset the locals), however it is beside the bridge and can be accessed out of sight of the folk living there. You will be able to get parked at the side of the road. Please exercise caution as the road can be busy!.

There were only two rules on BCDR, Rule 1 - No spitting and Rule 2 - Obey all the rules (not really!).

The cache is a small tablock box, it is accessible from the road.
