Isle of Pine is a “Green Place” preserve created by Orange County. The preserve is approximately 550 acres and was formally known as “Hampton Bay”. Developers bought the property to build homes. However, Isle of Pines Property Owners Association went to Orange County and requested they buy the property and create a preserve. Orange County purchased it from the developers and created Isle of Pine Preserve. It is bordered on the West by Lake Mary Jane and private property on the remaining three sides. The surrounding property is private and very well protected, so please don’t cross any fences. Hours are sunrise to sunset. You are looking for a small lock-n-lock container.
If you have found Isle of Pine Preserve 1 and 2, you need to go back out and park in a new location. You cannot traverse from one section of the preserve to the other.
You will need to get the code from the log book for the Isle of Pine Mystery cache that is located in the preserve.
Permission to place this cache has been granted by Orange County Parks and Recreation.
