Diz's Dirty Earthday DITO! Cache In Trash Out® Event

Come join your host DizFiz on his favorite holiday for some Geocaching fun, but most importantly come help give back to our community by participating in a DITO (Dirtbag In, Trash Out!) Event. 

Join your friendly local Dirtbags and help us celebrate the 11th Annual Cache In Trash Out weekend. Events just like this will be held around the world on 4/20 to allow Geocachers an opportunity to give back to the community and clean up areas that we value and need for our hobby. Attendees of this event will not only be able to obtain the very difficult to get "CITO" event icon, but this year Geocaching.com will be awarding a special souvenir icon to all attendees. This will be your only chance this year to obtain this souvenir. 

The BBDGS will be holding this DITO (we prefer Dirtbag In Trash Out because everything is more fun when you're a Dirtbag) at Fishermans Park, home of the famous "Lunker's Lair 2" cache. We will get dirty to help clean up the park! The event will start at 10am and run until approximately noon. 

After the event everyone is invited to bring a lunch for a picnic in the park and enjoy the green of springtime. Members of the DGS will also be on hand with kayaks to assist anyone brave enough to go after the nearby terrain 4 cache. There are several other high terrain/difficulty caches in the area to be found. 

So get off your couches to come help Diz celebrate his favorite day of the year by gettin' dirty and cleaning up the green!
