There IS a BONUS CACHE so please make a note of the bonus number in the logbook.
Some of the logbooks are in the wrong caches but this will not matter for the bonus as long as you find #9 - #16.

This is a series of caches that I was inspired to create by Red_Family's series of Homburg caches called Grosse Namen and Ich Trage Einen Grossen Namen.

Each of the people in this series were born (MADE) in Germany. Later in life they immigrated to the USA and became citizens of America.  Many of them had a great influence on the USA and the rest of the world.  I hope that each person who completes this series learns a little bit more about how our two countries, German and The United States of America, are forever connected.

HINT:

I am a man.
I was born in what is now Hessen.
I committed suicide.

I was in the Prussian Army but got kicked out for cheating at cards.

I was in prison in Utah for a short time.
One of the men who worked for me shot himself and died at the same time I shot and killed myself.
Two other men that worked for me were sentenced to life in prison.
I died in Indiana.
